Eastman Maintenance Facility
Dupuis Construction was responsible for developing and building the Eastman Maintenance Facility, a pre-engineered steel structure that houses the new offices and mechanical space for the Eastman Community Maintenance Department.
In developing the site, we built a new stormwater system that includes a holding pond and a substantially enlarged parking area. The buildings themselves include 4 offices, a conference area, a cafeteria, a residential style kitchen, and public bathrooms. In the mechanical section of the structure, we built 3 full size garage bays large enough for modern, heavy equipment, along with ample storage and shop space.
We design-built the elaborate garage, custom outfitting it to store equipment including retractable oil and lube lines, piped air lines, a large overhead crane for hoisting equipment and parts, and numerous workspaces, shelves, and benches for the mechanics. The entire building is designed to withstand New Hampshire's inevitable power outages, with a large hardwired Diesel generator that can power the entire building.
