For our custom residential projects, we partner with exceptional design firms we have long standing relationships with, and collaborate in weekly meetings to make sure your vision is executed smoothly.
Step One
Consult and
Pre-Construction
Our expert team will sit down with you and review your ideas and budget to see how we can bring your dream to life. We’ll learn about your needs as they pertain to the function and layout of your project, your design style, scope of the project, and much more.
Step Two
Conceptual Design
Our design/build team will begin drawing up custom plans for your home, provide you with a quote, help you select finishes and custom-home features, and so much more. This will happen in 4-6 weeks.
Step Three
Design/Construction Documents
In this phase, we’ll engineer the structure and work through all the fine details in the plans. This typically takes 2-4 weeks.
Step Four
Permits
This stage is all based on local and state regulations. There can be permits for water, sewer, septic, driveways, stormwater, and additions/new homes. This can take anywhere from 4 weeks (almost every town requires a 30 day review period) to 6 months, depending on the location and scope.
Step Five
Build
We’ve drawn up the plans-now it’s time for us to start building! The timeframe of this will depend on your project. Some remodeling projects can take as little as 6 weeks, while new homes could take a year or more depending on size, quality, complexity, and decision making.
Step Six
Move In
The work is done-all you need to do is get your keys, move in, and enjoy your residence. You’ll be able to do this with peace of mind knowing Dupuis Construction is in charge. All of our projects come with a builder warranty, so you can sleep well at night with the security.
